Competition has made the sale figures hard to achieve for small to huge security system businesses. So to stay alive in this cut throat business you must ask yourselves a few straight questions. The very generic one among them is – what am I doing to make my products stand apart from the others?

Underlying this questions come some more questions.

• What kind of online referral program am I offering?
• Am I offering rewards, coupons, cash or rebates for people who visit often and get more visitors with them?
• How much have I advertised in the last season and how much do I need to in the next one?
• Have I involved my products in co-sponsoring a local brand?
• Have I done enough of local classified advertising or local search engine marketing?
• Have I signed up for affiliate programs or hired an online marketer to make a buzz about my stuff?

There are a lot more questions ahead. If you already have an answer for the above, it is splendid on your part, but if you don’t, you need to be seriously thinking about something.
