A survey conducted by managed hosting provider NetBenefit showed that 42% of companies think that online presence is an effective way to a recession proof business. With 83% of companies see an increase in online spending NetBenefit claimed that it has never been more important to have a dependable proposal for hosting providers.

The study, which was carried out among the delegates during the recent E-Commerce Expo in London, saw responses to a series of questions about online marketing. Three quarters of respondents said they had 50% or more of their activities online. 80% said, they had plans to increase their online activities during the next 12 months. It is clear that many companies feel their online presence will help beat the credit crunch. 

Websites are crucial for retailers, but we must remember that consumers find it easier to shop online. It is important that companies with an online presence accommodate hosting which will overcome some serious risks like delivering a bad experience or slow response time. 
A strong platform for hosting is necessary, which ensures the availability of 24 x 7support.

Recent report by IMRG suggests year to year growth in the last quarter, where about 15% consumers spent 13.16 billion pounds online during this Christmas period.
